Some of the Best Unknown Horror Movies
95Some Great Movies Go Unnoticed
I have covered some of the best horror movies of all time, but there are other movies, great movies, that go unnoticed by most people. Some of these are independent films, some are lower budget movies that don't see the same attention on the big screen. Sometimes, these movies offer something a little bit different that the big budget movies just don't have. They seem to try harder to deliver something good, or a unique take on a genre that has become somewhat predictable. Some big budget horror movies just seem to be slapped together, copies of other movies, or tired remakes. I watch a lot of horror movies, and have found some very good movies that haven't gotten the same attention as some of the bigger budget horror movies.

The List
- Amusement (2008): Amusement combines classic elements and themes from popular horror movies, and common urban legends. It blends them together in a way that is truly different and great! I have read reviews that panned the movie, but as a fan of classic horror, I found the movie amusing. The classic urban legend of the killer in the house while the babysitter is there, and other such stories, is what makes this movie fun. We have all heard those stories as children. I know I have. The acting isn't perfect, but for the budget the movie had, it was done well. Like I said, horror movies have an element of humor. This movie has that. "The Laugh" is a classic horror movie killer persona. The movie follows three, seemingly unrelated girls, as they each encounter separate scenes of horror.
- The Bad Seed (1956): The Bad Seed is a classic horror movie! I love movies with evil little kids. Christine Penmark's seemingly perfect family, including her perfect daughter, may not be all they appear to be. Christine's beautiful, sweet, little girl may, in fact, be a psychopathic killer. The Bad Seed is a great black-and-white horror movie made at a time when terrible creature features were the flavor of the month. A truly great movie! A TV version of the movie was made in 1985 starring Lynn Redgrave and David Carradine. I have not seen that version, so I can't really comment on it. This is one of my all-time favorite movies for the sheer chill it gave me. It isn't overly violent or gory, fitting with the time it was made, but it was terrifying, none the less.
- Behind the Mask: The Rise of Leslie Vernon (2006): A documentary crew has been given unprecedented access into the life of a serial killer. That is the premise for this movie. Leslie Vernon, the budding slasher, invites a crew into his world, allowing them to view his reign of terror. Horror great, Robert Englund (best known as Freddy Krueger), plays Doc Halloran, and Zelda Rubinstein (best known for her role as Tangina in the Poltergeist movies) appears in her last feature length film role. She died in early 2010. Have you ever wondered what it would be like to get inside the mind of a serial killer? To follow one around? This movie gives you a taste of what that might be like.
- Breathing Room (2008): A lot of people pan this movie as a rip-off of Saw, but in reality, there was a movie before Saw that followed a similar formula. Saw is actually a rip-off of a movie called Cube, which I will cover later. A group of people wake up in a room, to discover they have all been given numbers, and, in fact, are all "contestants" in some game, and that there is no escape. Violence and mayhem insue, with some great twists, and clever angles. I liked this movie. It has elements similar to Saw, as well as Cube, but takes a slightly different approach. It is cast with unknown actors, which I tend to like. Seeing Brad Pitt in a slasher flick would be a bit strange, and would take me out of the movie.
- Bug (2006): Bugs creep me out, gross me out, and just give me the chills. I hate bugs. This movie explores the irrational fear of bugs, along with overwhelming paranoia and delusions. Ashley Judd stars in the movie, as does Harry Connick Jr. The movie is strange, disturbing, and thought provoking. You are never really sure what is real, and what isn't. Are they really being infested with bugs? The lengths they go to protect themselves from this potentially imaginary infestation is truly horrifying.
- The Cellar Door (2007): I love movies about crazy people. Mostly because these movies touch on things that could really happen, and that is what really scares me. My sister recommended this movie, and it did not disappoint. I will have that childhood rhyme stuck in my head for a while. I am sure many of you remember it; "Say say old playmate, Come out and play with me, And bring your dollies three, Climb up my apple tree, Slide down my rainbow, Into my cellar door, And we'll be jolly friends, Forever more..." The movie is about a very lonely, very disturbed man named, Herman, and his recent obsession with a sexy, seductive woman named Rudy. This movie amazed me. It's hard to believe that this movie hasn't received more attention. It had a small budget, but what it lacks in big budget polish, it makes up for in talented acting and a great script.
- Cube (1997): Cube is a cult horror classic!! I stumbled across this movie by accident about six years ago. I found it captivating, remarkable, and terrifying. Seven strangers wake to find themselves in separate rooms of an endless, and deadly maze. Cube after cube reveals new terrors, new traps, new ways to die. The strangers must navigate the maze, and find the way out in order to survive. If it hadn't been for Cube, there would be no Saw. Sequels have been made, Cube 2:Hypercube, and Cube Zero (a prequel, really). Hypercube offers a more futuristic look at the same premise, while Cube Zero takes a look at the early days of the plan. Both are decent, but not as good as the first.
- Death of a Ghost Hunter (2007): I covered this movie in my hub on ghost story movies, but I still felt it worthy of mention. The acting isn't anything remarkable, but the story is very compelling. The movie is portrayed as the depictions based on the journal of a real ghost hunter who died during a paranormal investigation. The movie is interesting, and spooky. The characters are believable, and the little twists on the typical haunted house movie are what make it good.
- The Entity (1981): The Entity stars Barbara Hershey as Carla Moran, a woman who is attacked, beaten and raped by an unseen force. She struggles to figure out what is happening to her. She seeks the help of a psychiatrist, and later, a parapsychologist, in an attempt to put an end to the attacks. Is she going mad? Is all of this really happening? The movie is supposedly based on a true story. The movie is great, chilling, disturbing and very good! I love Barbara Hershey in this role. She is remarkable!
- Funny Games (2007): Funny Games is a remake of a movie of the same name, from 1997, and stars Naomi Watts and Tim Roth. A family taking some time off in their vacation home are taken hostage by crazy serial killers and forced to act out their sick, sadistic games. The killers seem intelligent and well mannered at first, but turn vicious and cruel once their real intentions are discovered.I have seen both versions of the movie and both are worthy of watching. It is hard to imagine surviving something like that.
- The Girl Next Door (2007): I am not talking about the comedy about the kid who lives next door to a porn star. This movie is much more chilling, much more disturbing, and a great movie. This movie made me sad, it scared me and it made me think. Two young girls go to live with their aunt after the death of their parents. The aunt is friendly and carefree with the kids in the neighborhood, but terribly cruel to her nieces. She abuses and tortures them, and even gets the boys in on the abuse. It only gets worse from there. This movie is very hard to watch. It even made me cry at certain points.
- Grace (2009): Grace is a movie that intrigued me. I read the basic plot overview, and knew I wanted to see this movie. A young woman, who is eight months pregnant, is involved in an accident, which results in the death of her unborn baby and her husband. She is determined to carry the baby to term and deliver it, just the same. Then a strange thing happens, baby Grace comes back to life. Grace is a hungry baby, and mother's milk is not what she hungers for. The movie is truly disturbing, and remarkable in it's originality. The role of the mother-in-law is also terribly disturbing. The movie does have a slower, less hurried pace than most horror movies, though.
- The Hamiltons (2006): The Hamiltons is about your everyday, average suburban family. Upon the deaths of their parents, the four young adult siblings must learn to fend for themselves. Or, at least this is how it all looks on the surface. The siblings keep referring to some "disease", and then there is the issue of what they are keeping, and feeding, down in the basement. A strange story, to say the least. The movie is cast with unknown, but talented actors. It's a movie I had never heard of until I happened upon it one night. I am glad I did.
- Hard Candy (2005): Ellen Page (star of Juno) plays a remarkably mature 14 year-old in this movie. Hard Candy is about a young girl who meets an older man on the internet. she suspects that he's a pedophile, and attempts to expose him. Less of a true horror movie, and more an indi-psychological thriller, it is still a great movie. This is a great movie that turns the tables on internet predators. Ellen Page is chilling in her role as Hayley Stark.
- House (2008): After being stranded in the middle of nowhere in rural Alabama, two couples seek refuge in an old bed & breakfast. They quickly discover that their hosts are not all they are cracked up to be, and neither is the house. The hosts make reference to "The Tin Man", and that the couples have drawn him there. The truth, though, is so much worse than they can imagine. Michael Madsen plays a strangely mysterious cop that they meet along the way. Leslie Easterbrook and Bill Moseley (both starred in The Devil's Rejects together, Easterbrook as Mother Firefly, and Moseley as Otis), star as mother and son once again, in this movie.
- Let The Right One In (2008): Let The Right One In is the original, Swedish, version of a movie titled, Let Me In, that just recently came out in theaters. I have not seen the English version, and am almost afraid to. Let The Right One In was remarkable! It has a quietness to it that you rarely see in horror movies. It leaves you with a disturbed feeling, a sense of sadness and the overwhelming feeling that sometimes, a monster isn't really a monster. Let The Right One In is about a bullied lonely boy named Oskar, who makes a new friend on the playground by his apartment building. Eli is a sad little girl who befriends the equally sad Oskar. You really feel for these characters, even after you discover Eli's true nature.
- Midnight Meat Train (2008): I will say, the ending to this movie was a bit much, but the movie is excellent! For a movie with a great cast, Bradley Cooper, Vinnie Jones, Leslie Bibb and Brooke Shields, this movie did not receive the attention it deserved. I even recall Cooper making mention of that in an interview once. The movie follows a photographer (Cooper) who has stumbled upon a potential serial killer. His curious nature leads him to follow this killer. The movie delivers some gore and some great twists. This was another recommendation of my sister's, and once again, she was right. My fiance even liked this movie, despite not being a fan of horror movies.
- Pandorum (2009): This movie is great! It has elements reminiscent of the Alien movies. Two crew members awake from their hyper-sleep chambers to discover that all is not well with their ship. Bower, played by Ben Foster (known for roles in 3:10 to Yuma, 30 Days of Night and Six Feet Under) goes looking for a way out, his wife, and some way to gain control of the ship. He is met with some resistance from the other survivors he encounters along the way, as well as some strange creatures that seem to have invaded the ship. Survival may turn out to be more important then originally thought as chilling secrets are revealed about what really happened aboard their ship.
- Pathology (2008): Medical students playing God as they play a simple "game". The game is to see which of them can commit the perfect murder. The movie stars Alyssa Milano (Who's the Boss? and Charmed) and Milo Ventimiglia (Heros). The movie was better than I had expected it to be. My sister recommended this movie, and while she is usually great with her recommendations, what I read of the plot synopsis, I wasn't entirely thrilled with watching it. I gave it a shot, mostly because she said I should, and she was right. This movie was far better than I had expected.
- Tideland (2005): This seemed, at first, to be less horror, more fantasy. I was wrong. It is a fantasy, it is also dramatic, a little scary and beautiful. Pre-teen Jeliza-Rose's parents are drug addicts and far from ideal parents, and after her mom OD's, her father takes her out to his family place to hide out. Jeliza-Rose transports herself to a strange fantasy world. Jeliza-Rose is played by Jodelle Ferland, who stars in Silent Hill and the new movie, Case 39. She is a compelling, wonderful young actress.

Pretty good list (I hated some, really enjoyed some others) and if I many, I'll add a few of my underrated gems that haven't been mentioned here and haven't received enough love and attention:
Stake Land
The Shrine
Dead Birds
Babysitter Wanted
Baby Blues - so underrated it doesn't even appear on most horror blogs for some reason.
Wasted on the Young - from Australia
All the Boys Love Mandy Lane
Dread - part of Clive Owen's Books of Blood, if you liked Midnight Meat Train and thought that IT was underrated than give Dread a shot. I liked it a lot more and it received even less attention.
Session 9
Splinter
We are the night - German vampire film
Just some you might enjoy and may not have heard of...
You and me both, for some odd reason I feel the need to buy every cheesy B horror movie that I run across, it's usually worth the cost but quite a few are just plai horrible.
A great mix of A and B horror films and yes everyone of them have some awesome/creepy moment making them worth the watch. It seems to me the low budget films are usually scarier than the box office hits. Good job!
To response to Guest 33 question, I think the movie that you are talking about is called The Anniversary at Shallow Creek. Hope that helped.
Is anyone aware of a movie about a group of 20-somethings that stay at one of their uncles houses for a weekend, and end up getting terrorized by a masked killer? SPOILER ALERT: It is actually a married couple wearing masks, and they use their young son to help set the kids up. They are out having a campfire, the child shows up and asks to hang out, and then one of them is shot, so they run into the house, with the kid, where they are now trapped.... I saw it on netflix and its driving me CRAZY tryin to find it. (I know this is long but there's sooo many "trapped" movies that I have to be specific). Also I remember one of the girls being a med student, and at the end, when the masks come off, the husband/wife killers make her choose between her boyfriend and best friend (or something along those lines). Anyone...please help, I am losing my mind over this!!!
Just saw "Amusement", plan to write my review on it. I basically found the story to be very slow, boring, repetitive, and not well structured, and the acting wasn't very good either, but there are definitely some creative moments, and the cinematography was pretty cool. It's definitely a movie to rent at the very least. I will again credit you in the Hub and will next look at "Funny Games" (2007). By the way did you see the original 1997 version? :)
Cube was like a "Pre-Saw" movie. I loved the hell out of it. The ending was brilliant.
The Hamiltons realllly disappointed me, and so did Hard Candy, although Ellen Paige played that part to a T.
Midnight Meat Train...probably the best adaption of a Clive Barker film since Hellraiser. Some of the other ones...Book of Blood comes to mind...fail completely.
Funny Games is so rediculous I can't even describe how I feel about it. My head hurt afterwards.
The rest...sounds like I have some serious movie-devoting time to get to.
Excellent summaries!
Have you ever seen "Someone's Knocking On The Door"? You might like that.
it's great that you included gems like bug, grace and let the right one in... a very interesting list indeed...
I have seen both Grace and The Hamiltons. Think of the latter as a... "family with a dark secret but tries to keep it on the DL" type of movie.
I finally saw that film "Grace", and I didn't really like it that much. But I am looking forward to checking out more movies on your list :) (I also linked this article to my review of "Grace", if that's okay with you.)
Love your list!
Seed (2007)
Hatchet 1
Neighbor
All great unknown horror flicks. BTW, besides Insidious and The Last Exorcism, PG-13 Sucks!
The Cottage is the best UK horror/comedy since Shaun of the dead!
Cool list, here's a few that i'd add:
Hatchet
Neighbor
Seed (2007)
Castle Freak
These are all worth renting. Let me know!
oh, I forgot to say-- Anna, great list! I try to keep up on all the horror flicks, but you mentioned a few I have missed. I was glad to see "Leslie Vernon" made your list.
Vectormovieman -- I think the movie you are talking about is called "Evil Aliens." As unappealing as it may seem from your description, it's a great movie, if you have a tolerance for gore.
QualityContent -- I'll explain my love of horror, if you can explain the popularity of Adam Sandler, Lady Gaga, & Adam Sandler movies.
One of the most important indicators for the success of a relationship is if the couple agree on whether they like or dislike horror films. I guess QualityContent & I won't be dating anytime soon -- particularly if he is dude. Speaking of which, can anyone explain to me the appeal of being gay?
Well I won't be popular around here lol. I utterly, completely, hate these useless excuses for entertainment. But this is a good hub for those who like to waste time with this mindless drivel. I don't consider seeing someones guts displayed before me to be "fun" sorry.
If someone could explain to me why these movies are so popular I would love to hear it. I have never, ever found one of them to be worth two minutes of my time.
Did you see Blindness, yet?
Hear are a few more: Jeepers Creepers; Reeker.
do u know the horor movie where a group of people go to a cottage, or some vacation house ( last time i saw this movie was like 10 years ago).. anyways aliens capture them one by one .. a couple scenes are ; and alien ripped a womans intestines from her vagina.. also an alien tried to eat a silicone breast implant .. its killing me that i dont know the movie and i can find it on google . thanks
I've seen almost every movie on your list (haven't seen Grace, yet.) and have to agree with you in that they are worth checking out. Here's a few I think are worth seeing if you haven't yet.
Severance - "A team-building weekend in the mountains of Eastern Europe goes horribly wrong..."
Inside - "Four months after the death of her husband, a woman on the brink of motherhood is tormented in her home by a strange woman..."
High Tension (Haute Tension) - Two college friends, Marie and Alexa, encounter loads of trouble (and bl"ood) while on vacation at Alexa's parents' country home..."
Them (Ils) - "Lucas and Clementine live peacefully in their isolated country house, but one night they wake up to strange noise... they're not alone..."
I have Amusement now and I hope to watch it over the weekend at some point. I'll let you know :)
The Hamiltons is such a cool movie. I'm also going to check out these recommendations I haven't seen. Amusement looks awesome.
Great idea about naming horror films that went under the radar. My favorite one of the ones you mentioned and is always overlooked is "The Entity". This was a great movie from 1981 that scared the heck out of me when I was just starting Junior High. Another great horror film that was overlooked was the 1979 film "The Changeling" (Not to be confused with the 2008 Clint Eastwood film "Changeling"). This was a serious film with great acting. The main character is George C. Scott to give you an example of the quality of actors. Have you seen this film? For the rest of the posters, this will make a great flick to watch!
Really good article! i have seen many of these movies and the ones that i havnt are going on my instant que haha. We seem to share a similiar taste in horror film. I would like to see what you think of my posts.
Wow, what a great list of horror movies and I don't like many in the genre but I have seen Eye Candy to point ~ where she is ready to de-man him. I was watchng it on Second Life and technology failed. I will certainly check out some of the others. Really great hub, as I like movie reviews. Voted up, awesome and very interesting!
Yeah, I'm sure I will, thanks again :)
Interesting, I've seen about a quarter of the movies on your list, but I'm now inclined to look up "Grace", but great job, keep up the great work. Voted Up, Useful, and Interesting.
I took a whole class last year in college about horror films and I'm sad to say that I've only watched 2 on the list. Thanks for sharing! Looks like I have a lot of catching up to do.
Thanks to this list, I am now going to have to add some of these movies to my collection. I rarely go for modern horror movies, but these look good. Some I already own, though.
Hi,
Like the list I have seen most of these flixs I have to recommend Hatchet 2 as a
hilarious over the top gore slasher flick.
Hey I really like your list, will definitely check them out. Some that I recommend are Case 39 (some dont like it, but I did though, definitely different), Insidious (awesome), Silent Hill (one of my favs, sequel is due out next year. YAY!) and some of favs are spanish horror films. They are underrated, but i love them. Two that I recommend are Rec (the sequel was horrible though) and the Orphanage.
I usually don't like slasher movies, stupid teens getting sliced up. But Behind the Mask was awesome. I enjoyed the clever plot esplaining how serial killers work. Let the right one in was one of the best vampire movies ever. You could look at it as a lonely boy befriended by a lonely being or a clever Monster grooming her next renfield.
Thanks to share this hub. I wanted to see all that horror movies this weekend.
I'm so glad someone found Bug to be worth its movie budget - I had a hard time appreciating it. I found it to be slow, amateur, and painfully boring. Even heavy psychological thrillers should have a plot and more than 2 backgrounds. But you make a good point, perhaps you can get into it if you have a bug phobia.
I loved Funny Games, however! Good, thorough hub! I already added a few I hadn't heard of to my Netflix queue :)
I am surprised you didn't include blindness! Give that a view and tell me it isn't scary.
I've only seen three of the films on this list (Midnight Meat Train, The Entity and The Bad Seed) but quite a few of the others sound like they'd be up my alley. Thanx for the tips. On the Netflix list they go!
This is a fascinating list covering a genre which I dearly love. I'm surprised to find that Let The Right One In is considered an unknown horror movie. Is this because it's a Swedish made movie? Perhaps so. Thanks for putting this list together.
cool list i am more of an old school horror guy. I even made a hub of some of my favorites if you wanna check it out. but ill have to give some of these a try!
I forgot Eden Lake, love this little jewel from UK, really disturbing and brilliant film.
Hey you're right, I had a hell of time with some other unnoticed movies that I recommend, they are: Antichrist, Isolation, Batoru Rowaiaru (Battle Royale) (JP), Martyrs (FR)(in some ways pretty gross), The last house on the left, I spit on your grave, The descent, Trick r' Treat, Event Horizon (already named), Audition (JP), In the mouth of madness (already named, hell yeah), In dreams, Cabin Fever, Feast (Loved this one), À l'Intériour, 100 Feet, Chakushin Ari(One Missed Call) (JP), The house of the devil, Pontypool (was weird but really liked the feeling), Ginger Snaps, From Within, Alien Raiders, Fritt Vilt Saga(Cold Prey I, II) (they are swedish, and really good), The Cottage (funny horror movie), Mum & Dad, Parasomnia, Lord of Illusions, Pan's Labyrinth (ES), The devil's backbone (ES), They wait, Satan's Little Helper, Mute witness (about snuff films in Russia), She Creature, Seven days to live, Splinter, 1408, Solomon Kane, Frontiéres (FR), it's all I can remember right now. Try one of these anytime and you won't regret, trust me.
Cube is an amazing film - intelligent, dark, gripping - shame the sequel Hypercube was such rubbish.
Hey, it's my first time here. I was so excited about the great list, despite I haven't seen a couple of these movies, my favorites were: The Cube, The Girl Next Door (really sad), Let the right one in, Pandorum; I considered that were good movies: Grace, House, Pathology, Midnight Meat Train (not as good as the short story but...) and really didn't like Bug and Funny Games, they were too weird for my taste. The other movies I have not seen them to say.
A very good list, Im with John above, if you check the lists on imdb its the same old stuff on all of them.
I havn't seen 'Grace' or 'Amusement' yet, so I'll check them out next time Im looking for something to watch.
A few of my favs are 'In the Mouth of Madness', which I still can't believe hardly anyone has seen. And 'Jacob's Ladder' which to me is an all time classic.
That was an awesome list! Grace was nasty but great! So were many of your other choices!
This is a GREAT list.
I've been checking out a few lists of underrated horror and they always seem to have the same crap on them, but this is different, and (of the ones I've already seen) includes some truly fantastic movies.
I'm already downloading a couple of your recommendations.
I'm sure you must have sat through an awful lot of crap to find these.
Great list - Let the Right One In is one of my favorite movies; it's just so beautifully done. I'll be sure to check out some of the others in this list; they sound really interesting, especially The Bad Seed.
Some new movies to check out, thanks - I'm going to disagree on Hard Candy though - I didn't find it very scary, a little surprising, but I didn't feel any remorse for the guy she was torturing so therefore there was no connection for me.
A+ for Bug though - that movie creeped me out. Especially because you didn't know if he was just crazy or if there was something else going on until the end.
Pretty cool list. Ive seen most of these..
Cube was directed by Vincent Natali who made the recent, Splice.. His other films are more sci-fi and well worth checking out..(Cypher and Nothing).
Pathology sounds like a bit of a copy of a German film called Anatomie..
You could probably do a whole debate over whether Hard Candy is a horror or a thriller or what.. it is terrifying..especially from the male point of view..and I could never look at Ellen Page quite the same way again..(despite a great role in Juno).
Bug was kind of annoying, but very interesting too..and definetly a gross out!
Cheers for the list.
Cool post.

I really appreciate the fact that you included Hard Candy in your list of horror movies. I really miss the idea of dread and fear in movies and lately it seems most people are just out for shock value. Don't get me wrong, I love some shock value. But there is just something about being able to bring about the feeling of apprehension without tearing someone's face off that makes a movie truly scary.
There are quite a few movies here I have never heard of. I am going to have to make it a point to check some of these for sure !
You have some great movies here, i rented "Tideland" and bought it right after. I never saw "The Girl Next Door" but i did see the Ellen Page version called "An American Crime" and i have to agree about "Midnight Meat Train" i felt kind of let down by the ending.
These are all movies that I have. I just finished reading The Bad Seed for the fourth time. Cube is good. I have the sequels. House was one of my fav movies growing up.
Your list made me excited (and gave me goosebumps too)! great timing for the Halloween season, the Midnight Meat Train and Pathology among many great others made me very intrigued. Gotta go and get a copy! Thanks for sharing Anna :)
I rented Cube after i read your list and can I just say WOW, great horror movie and i had never even heard of it before! Thanks, im gonna watch Bug next, been meaning to for awhile but finally getting around to it, Wonderful Hub!! Im all about the horror movies!!
OMG! I remember the bad seed. This little girl was a mass murdered. This movie is something else!
I've only seen a couple of these movies. I remember seeing the Barbara Hershey movie on cable a long time ago, and was affected by its horrible subject matter. Your descriptions make this a list of movies worth checking out. Thanks!
Mike
How well I remember The Bad Seed - great stuff way back then. I love a good horror movie as long as there is no chain saw murders - but something like "Bug" - oooh, I'll try it.
Great hub - rated up and thanks for the guide. Yay!
hey i like the way you have described each one of the movies. after reading the reviews i think I shall watch Pandorum first. :)
I can appreciate the "good horror" in any crummy horror movie. Many of these I have not seen and I will be hot on the trail at the store! Fantastic job!

LOL I hear the same flack from my wife about my cheesy taste in movies.
